A sonnet is a kind of poem. Shakespeare wrote loads, he's really famous for them xD it was a while since I studied them in english, which is kinda where this one came from... sonnets are basically 14 lines long, with the basic structure of three stanzas and then a rhyming couplet at the end, so like this: a-b-a-b, c-d-c-d, e-f-e-f, g-g.
